Basketball Recap: Seton Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

Seton hadn't done well against Miller School of Albemarle recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The stars were shining brightly for the Seton Conquistadors in a 43-28 victory over the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks. Winning may never get old, but the Conquistadors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Seton's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Miller School of Albemarle, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seton and Oakcrest will compete for holiday cheer at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Miller School of Albemarle will take on Saint Gertrude in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Saint Gertrude will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Miller School of Albemarle surely won't give up without a fight.
