Baseball Recap: Edison Find Success

It was a proper cat-fight when Edison challenged Sunnyside on Tuesday. The Tigers walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Wildcats. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Anthony Cobian was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Rory Kelly, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Edison hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive games.

Edison's record is now 16-3. As for Sunnyside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Edison beat Sunnyside by a score of 12-2 on Friday.
