Softball Game Preview: Bellevue Redmen vs. Clyde Fliers

The Bellevue Redmen will take on the Clyde Fliers at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Bellevue is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Bellevue after they put the first run on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Norwalk by a score of 4-3. The Redmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chloe Easterwood made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. MyahAnn Reesman also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Clyde got the win against Columbian on Wednesday by a conclusive 11-2. Considering the Fliers have won six games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Clyde, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
