Football Recap: Lone Grove Longhorns vs. Bristow Pirates
After soaring to 46 points the game before, Lone Grove was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 46-6 defeat at the hands of the Bristow Pirates.
Bristow was led to victory by Promised Johnson and Darien Dansby. Johnson rushed for 86 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while Dansby gained 172 total yards and two touchdowns. Dansby's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards.
Lone Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bristow, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
