Baseball Recap: Arlington Falls to Wakefield Memorial in First Game of Season

Arlington unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 7-2 to the Wakefield Memorial Warriors on Wednesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Ryan Marshall was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arlington will welcome Billerica Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wakefield Memorial, they will host Westport at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
