Basketball Game Preview: Blue Earth Buccaneers vs. St. Clair Cyclones

The Blue Earth Buccaneers will venture away from home to take on the St. Clair Cyclones at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Blue Earth is looking for their season's first win.

Blue Earth came up into this matchup off a tough 25-point loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Sibley East by a score of 43-41 on Saturday. One positive for the Buccaneers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, St. Clair came up short against Central on Saturday, falling 67-41. The Cyclones have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Blue Earth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Clair, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Blue Earth against St. Clair when the teams last played back in December of 2018, as the team secured an 83-54 victory. Will Blue Earth repeat their success, or does St. Clair have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
