Baseball Recap: South Dearborn Triumphs

South Dearborn won the last time they faced Rushville and things went their way on Monday too. The Knights came out on top against the Lions by a score of 9-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Izaak Lozier got the start for South Dearborn and what a start it was: he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Ryker Morris and Tyeler Gulden did most of the damage at the plate: Morris got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI, while Gulden went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Gulden has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Alex Probst, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
