Volleyball Recap: Evergreen Park Comes Up Short

The Evergreen Park Mustangs came up short against the Richards Bulldogs on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Richards scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21.

Fionn Doherty paced Evergreen Park's offense, picking up seven kills. Doherty got some help from Michael Bruno and his 13 assists.

Evergreen Park's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-11. As for Richards, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Evergreen Park has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South on the 24th. As for Richards, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Tinley Park on the 24th.
