Softball Recap: Gladstone Gladiators vs. Madras White Buffaloes
Gladstone got themselves on the board against Madras on Wednesday, but Madras never followed suit. They blew past the White Buffaloes 16-0. The Gladiators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by nine runs or more this season.

Ashlynne Franssen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
