Football Game Preview: Lincoln Central vs. Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS will challenge Lincoln Central on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS and six for Lincoln Central.

There's no need to mince words: Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS lost to Garner-Hayfield/Ventura last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-36.

Meanwhile, we expected Lincoln Central to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Southeast Valley, and they did. Lincoln Central suffered a grim 6-28 defeat to Southeast Valley.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
