Soccer Game Preview: Wissahickon vs. Upper Dublin

Wissahickon hasn't had much luck against Upper Dublin recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. Wissahickon will be strutting in after a win while Upper Dublin will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Wissahickon beat North Penn 3-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given Wissahickon's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 268th, while North Penn are ranked 54th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Upper Dublin duked it out with Faith Christian Academy on Friday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for Upper Dublin seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Wissahickon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six matchups. As for Upper Dublin, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-3.
