It's playoff time, and Kennedy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a goal and slipped past the Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears 1-0. The Cougars' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Lucas Esquivias, who's now up to four this season.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Port of Los Angeles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Kennedy will face off against Eagle Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eagle Rock will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Kennedy surely won't give up without a fight. Port of Los Angeles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
