Volleyball Game Preview: Seneca Golden Eagles vs. Eastside Tigers

The Seneca Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Eastside Tigers on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Seneca came up short against Sterling and fell 2-0.

Seneca may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 17 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Eastside was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to Camden.

Seneca dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Eastside, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Seneca was able to grind out a solid win over Eastside when the teams last played on April 2nd, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
