Greenville Tech Charter suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 71-23 loss at the hands of Landrum. Greenville Tech Charter was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-12.
The losing side was boosted by Mercedes Santerini, who scored ten points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Chesnee came up short against Greer Middle College on Wednesday and fell 32-25.
Greenville Tech Charter has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Chesnee, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-18.
Greenville Tech Charter came up short against Chesnee in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 44-40. Can Greenville Tech Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
