Soccer Game Preview: Ridgeline vs. Maple Mountain

The Ridgeline Riverhawks will take on the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Ridgeline got the win against Tooele by a conclusive 8-1. Fans of Ridgeline have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Meanwhile, Maple Mountain was able to grind out a solid victory over Spanish Fork on Thursday, taking the game 5-3.

The Golden Eagles' offense was hitting the Dons from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Maple Mountain now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Ridgeline, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
