Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holy Cross). They walked away with a 5-2 win over the St. Edmund Prep Eagles on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Holy Cross' win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for St. Edmund Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Holy Cross is set to face off against their familiar foe Archbishop Molloy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, St. Edmund Prep will take on rival St. John's Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
