Volleyball Game Preview: Valor Academy vs. Discovery Warriors

Valor Academy will challenge the Discovery Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Valor Academy is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Valor Academy came up short against Lake Balboa College Prep on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Valor Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Lake Balboa College Prep work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-14, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Discovery was able to grind out a solid win over Magnolia Science Academy Reseda on Monday, taking the game 3-1.

While Discovery might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Magnolia Science Academy Reseda scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 16-25, 25-23, 25-18.

Discovery's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Valor Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
