Baseball Game Preview: Delmarva Christian Royals vs. Sts. Peter & Paul Sabres

The Delmarva Christian Royals will square off against the Sts. Peter & Paul Sabres at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Delmarva Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

While Delmarva Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past MOT Charter 11-1 on Thursday. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Kasey Bell, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Jones, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Sts. Peter & Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 8-3 to Chapelgate Christian Academy.

Delmarva Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Sts. Peter & Paul, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
