Soccer Recap: Grand Prairie Takes a Loss

Grand Prairie lost against Martin back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grand Prairie Gophers came up short against the Martin Warriors, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Gophers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 631st, while the Warriors are ranked 259th).

Grand Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Martin, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.

Grand Prairie has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Haltom on the 31st. As for Martin, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against Bowie on the 31st.
