Soccer Recap: Westview Comes Up Short

Westview fell victim to Papillion-LaVista and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Monarchs. If Westview were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to Papillion-LaVista when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Westview and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Papillion-LaVista, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Westview is set to take on their familiar foe Aurora on the 16th. Meanwhile, Papillion-LaVista will square off against rival Papillion-LaVista South at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
