Volleyball Recap: San Joaquin Memorial Wins Going Away Against Lemoore

It was a proper cat-fight when San Joaquin Memorial challenged Lemoore on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Lemoore scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

Sarah Villalvazo had an outrageously good game as she had ten digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Villalvazo wasn't the only good server: San Joaquin Memorial was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lemoore only served four aces.

San Joaquin Memorial's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lemoore, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

San Joaquin Memorial has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Clovis on the 22nd. As for Lemoore, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Kingsburg on the 21st.
