Basketball Game Preview: Detroit Eagles vs. Clarksville Tigers

Detroit is 0-10 against Clarksville since February of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The Detroit Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Clarksville Tigers at 12:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Detroit will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 25 points on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Bloomburg on Friday. Detroit managed a 59-55 victory over Bloomburg.

Meanwhile, Clarksville didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Pewitt on Friday, but they still walked away with a 50-44 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Clarksville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Detroit, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Detroit was taken down by Clarksville 88-25 when the teams last played on Tuesday. Can Detroit avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
