Baseball Recap: Huffman Takes a Loss

Huffman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 8-4 to the Indian Springs Student. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Student this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Tuesday.

Braylen Malone made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Four bases. while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Dylan Craig, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Huffman now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Indian Springs, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Huffman and Indian Springs will both be playing Woodlawn the next time they take the field. Indian Springs will host Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Huffman will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
