Volleyball Game Preview: Westwood Christian Warriors vs. Archimedean

Westwood Christian hasn't had much luck against Archimedean recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Westwood Christian Warriors will look to defend their home court against Archimedean at 6:00 p.m. Archimedean took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Westwood Christian, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Westwood Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Pinecrest Glades Academy, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Archimedean came up short against Sports Leadership & Management on Thursday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for Archimedean in their meetings with Sports Leadership & Management: they've now lost four in a row.

Archimedean started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-18, 25-18, 26-24.

Archimedean's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Westwood Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Westwood Christian couldn't quite get it done against Archimedean in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Westwood Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
