Soccer Recap: Riverbank Plays to a Tie

Riverbank came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and the Modesto Panthers finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Friday. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Bruins have been dealt a draw since back in November.

With that draw, Riverbank's record moves to 4-5-2. Meanwhile, Modesto's record is now 1-7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverbank will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Foothill at 6:30 p.m. on December 27th. Riverbank's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Modesto, they will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Merced at 5:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
