Volleyball Recap: Kaylynn Brandon's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Stratton over Granada + How To Watch

Stratton entered their matchup against Granada on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 3-2. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Stratton took Granada into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-21, 17-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Stratton's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaylynn Brandon, who had six digs and two aces.

Stratton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Granada, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

Coming up, Stratton will challenge Limon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Granada has already played their next match (against Holly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
