Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick's Triumphs

St. Patrick posted their closest win since September 27th on Saturday. They skirted past Valentine 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Irish: when they faced off against Valentine back in September, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Ruby Uerling paced St. Patrick's offense, picking up 19 kills. Uerling got some help from Brooke Brosius and her 31 assists. Uerling was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

St. Patrick's victory bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Valentine, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 17-10 record.

St. Patrick's has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Chase County on the 18th. As for Valentine, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Bridgeport on the 18th.
