Glendora and Eastlake squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Glendora had to settle for second. They fell 4-1 to the Titans. The Tartans' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Glendora had to settle for second despite strong performances on the mound from Nick Gonzalez and Brayden Johnson Gonzalez pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, while Johnson tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. What's more, Gonzalez gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in April.

At the plate, Glendora saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Danison, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Glendora's defeat dropped their record down to 23-11. As for Eastlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10-1 record this season.
