It's playoff time, and East Rankin Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Leake Academy Rebels on Saturday, sneaking past 47-44. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on 12 straight.

Leake Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Marleigh Myers, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Jenna Allen was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight boards.

East Rankin Academy's win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 33-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points over those games. As for Leake Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 31-3.
