Freeland won the last time they faced Swan Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Freeland Falcons took down the Swan Valley Vikings 57-43. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Vikings are ranked 248th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Tristan Comer, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 13 boards. Wilson Huckeby was another key player, going 5-for-10 on his way to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Freeland's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Swan Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.
