Softball Preview: Wayne County War Eagles vs. Meridian Wildcats

Wayne County has gone a perfect 4-0 against Meridian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The War Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Wayne County will be strutting in after a win while Meridian will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Wayne County got the win against West Jones by a conclusive 10-1.

Brianna Hudson made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
