Volleyball Recap: Southeast of Saline Takes a Loss

Southeast of Saline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Halstead Dragons. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Dragons when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9.

Halstead can attribute much of their success to Thea Boese, who had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Boese has posted since back in September.

Southeast of Saline's loss dropped their record down to 9-22. As for Halstead, they pushed their record up to 30-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Southeast of Saline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Smoky Valley on the 13th. Halstead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
