Soccer Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

The Lutheran Cougars came up short against the Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights on Thursday and fell 3-1. Lutheran have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Incarnate Word Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

Lutheran will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Burroughs at 4:00 p.m. on May 7. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they will welcome Ozark at 8:00 a.m. on May 3.
