Softball Recap: Southridge Suns vs. Kennewick Lions

Southridge barely beat Kennewick the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Suns blew past the Lions 12-2 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Suns in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

Avery Garvey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Garvey was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
