Basketball Game Preview: Philadelphia Military Academy Knights vs. Swenson Arts & Tech Lion

After both having extra time off, the Philadelphia Military Academy Knights and the Swenson Arts & Tech Lion will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Philadelphia Military Academy is looking for their season's first win.

Two weeks ago, Philadelphia Military Academy ended up a good deal behind Parkway Northwest and lost 57-42.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Wahhaj Cheeks, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Daijon Crawford, who put up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Swenson Arts & Tech played a tough game two weeks ago in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy and fell 65-27. The Lion have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Swenson Arts & Tech's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Philadelphia Military Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Philadelphia Military Academy came up short against Swenson Arts & Tech when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 43-33. Can Philadelphia Military Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
