Baseball Recap: Beatrice Takes a Loss

Beatrice suffered their biggest loss since March 16, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against the Norris Titans, falling 15-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Orangemen of the 13-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Beatrice saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kale Koch, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Beatrice's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Norris, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Beatrice is set to take on their familiar foe Standing Bear at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Norris will square off against rival Seward at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
