Softball Recap: Somonauk Bobcats vs. Hiawatha Hawks
Somonauk won against Hiawatha last Monday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 17-2 win. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Kayla Anderson was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Anderson was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
