Football Recap: Crofton vs. Old Mill Patriots
Crofton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 34-21 to the Old Mill Patriots. Crofton lost against Old Mill in their previous head to head back in September of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-6 score last time.
Crofton's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Old Mill, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crofton will challenge Glen Burnie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Old Mill, they will take on Broadneck at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Old Mill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Broadneck likes a good challenge.
