Softball Preview: Johnson Central Golden Eagles vs. Boyd County Lions
Johnson Central is 1-8 against Boyd County since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Golden Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Lions. Johnson Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
Johnson Central's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Pikeville as they made off with a 15-0 win. The Golden Eagles have beaten the Panthers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Keylee Blair made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.
