Soccer Game Preview: Poly vs. Fremont

The Poly Parrots will take on the Fremont Pathfinders at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Poly is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Smidt Tech 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Poly.

They hit Smidt Tech with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mia Banuelos (2), Genesis Garcia, Ariana Soto, and Angelie Martinez.

Meanwhile, Fremont kept a clean sheet against Lincoln on Friday. They beat the Tigers by a goal, winning 1-0. That's two games straight that Fremont have won by just one goal.

The victory got Poly back to even at 6-6-5. As for Fremont, their win bumped their record up to 3-11-2.
