Football Game Preview: Iroquois Redhawks vs. South Park Sparks + Official Tickets

The Iroquois Redhawks will be playing at home against the South Park Sparks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Iroquois will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Friday, Iroquois humbled East Aurora/Holland with a 47-6 victory. The Redhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Iroquois to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justus Kleitz, who threw for 315 yards and five TDs while picking up 15.8 yards per attempt. Kleitz is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last four games he's played. Nick Ciancio was in the mix too, providing Iroquois with three scores.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for South Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 24-6 victory over Lewiston-Porter on Thursday. The contest marked the Sparks' most dominant win of the season.

The victory got South Park back to even at 4-4. As for Iroquois, their record now sits at 7-1.

Iroquois took a serious blow against South Park when the teams last played back in September of 2024, falling 58-28. Thankfully for the Redhawks, Adam Nunes (who rushed for 593 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 22.8 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
