Basketball Game Preview: Indian Creek Eagles vs. Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests

The Indian Creek Eagles will take on the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Indian Creek came up short against Concordia Prep and fell 70-63.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jayden Abraham, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Jeffers, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Sandy Spring Friends was able to grind out a solid victory over Saint James on Saturday, taking the game 57-48. The win was all the more spectacular given the Wildebeests' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Saints are ranked 20th).

Indian Creek has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Sandy Spring Friends, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.
