Colquitt County (Moultrie, Ga.) snapped the six-game winning streak of
Dacula (Ga.), with a 42-17 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Chase Parrish in the first quarter, the Packers were up 27-3 at the half.
Colquitt County grew its lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. CC scored once in the quarter on a touchdown.
The Moultrie school put up 27 points in the first quarter en route to the win. The Packers scored on a touchdown pass by Parrish, a touchdown pass by
Daniel Mobley to
Kiel Pollard, a defensive touchdown and a touchdown run by
Sihiem King in the quarter.
Colquitt County came into the game allowing 11.9 points per game.
The loss comes after Dacula defeated Peachtree Ridge 28-21 last week. The win brought Colquitt County's winning streak to three games.
