Basketball Recap: Casey-Westfield Wins Going Away Against Okaw Valley

Casey-Westfield posted their biggest win since December 19, 2024 on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Okaw Valley Timberwolves with a sharp 41-18 victory.

It was another big night for Lucy Moore, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 21 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Eckerty, who posted five points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Casey-Westfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Casey-Westfield's win bumped their record up to 11-21. As for Okaw Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-27 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Casey-Westfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-38 loss against Arcola on the 17th. Okaw Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
