Recap: Faith Christian Eagles vs. Carolina M Mustangs
The Faith Christian Eagles put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Carolina M 56-31. Fans of Faith Christian have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Abigail Faison, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds. Faison scored a full 35.5% of Carolina M's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Eliana Mah was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Faith Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Carolina M, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will take on Tabernacle Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Tabernacle Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Carolina M will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cristo Rey Research Triangle at 5:00 p.m. on December 15th. Cristo Rey Research Triangle will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 552nd, while Carolina M is ranked 269th).
