Football Recap: Jordan Williams Key Part of Team Effort in Falcons Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Barbers Hill, Foster was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 36-14 margin over the George Ranch Longhorns. The Falcons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Foster's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Williams led the charge by rushing for 61 yards and two scores on only six carries. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Williams a new career-high. Another signal caller making a difference was Seth Ross, who threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes.

Despite the loss, George Ranch still got an impressive performance from Hayden Drinkard, who rushed for 101 yards and a pair of TDs. Drinkard's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Foster's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for George Ranch, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
