Hillcrest has gone 10-0 against La Sierra recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hillcrest Trojans will be playing at home against the La Sierra Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Hillcrest will be strutting in after a win while La Sierra will be coming in after a loss.

Hillcrest took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 49-41 victory over JW North. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Huskies are ranked 549th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, La Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 99-47 loss at the hands of Norte Vista. The Eagles were down 67-37 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

La Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hillcrest, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Hillcrest was able to grind out a solid victory over La Sierra in their previous meeting back in January, winning 62-54. Will Hillcrest repeat their success, or does La Sierra have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
