Freedom was the 3-0 winner over Celebration when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots came up short against the Storm on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Freedom was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Freedom still got an impressive performance from Joana Petegrosso, who had eight digs and two aces. Luana Fanani also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Celebration, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Coming up, Freedom will take on Oak Ridge in a tournament on Thursday. As for Celebration, they will take on Poinciana at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
