Volleyball Recap: Shadow Ridge Comes Up Short

Shadow Ridge was the 3-0 winner over Sunnyslope when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Shadow Ridge fell 3-1 to Sunnyslope on Tuesday. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 21-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Sunnyslope can attribute much of their success to Mason Cooley, who had 13 assists and 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Cooley a new career-high.

Shadow Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Sunnyslope, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Shadow Ridge will challenge Catalina Foothills at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sunnyslope, they will square off against Desert Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
