It was a proper cat-fight when Newark Memorial duked it out withLick-Wilmerding on Friday. Newark Memorial fell just short of Lick-Wilmerding by a score of 3-2.

Jonathan Mitiku wasn't going to let Lick-Wilmerding walk away unscathed as he scored both of Newark Memorial's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Meanwhile, Tamalpais kept a clean sheet against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Fightin' Irish.

Newark Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Tamalpais, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-2.
